We had a water fight in the back yard for about 30 min., then we brought the gun inside. About 2 hours later my older son (age 17) heard a hissing sound coming from the gun. It turns out water had gotten into the battery compartment and was short circuiting the gun. First of all, you can't let this toy get too wet or else it will short circuit as said in the previous reviews. I managed to keep myself on the "soaker" side for long enough for this toy to survive.After about a year or so, I noticed that this toy really started to lose it's shooting range. I never really tested it, but it probably only shot 15 feet or so. 4 or so months later, I decided to pick it up again and use it for some reason(even though it was in the middle of winter). It just completely wouldn't work... While it did last, it was pretty cool. Some constant soaking power was a good addition to my arsenal. Just load your water mag, and find an enemy and just chase him with the thing for however long you can keep running after him. I bet it would be a great backup weapon for something that takes a long time to reload, but I never got the chance to use it in that role... so,... Read more |
