As it was he proceeded to soak his 2 boys, then turned the Supersoakers over to them, and they have had a wonderful time with them. I recommend these for kids of any age. The pump operation to fire couldn't be simpler -- you pull the pump toward you to stream the water out, push the pump out to repeat. It's easy to fill the blaster with water. The capacity is good for several shots, though you'll find you have to reload often. The range is good, but not great. The velocity of the water isn't as high as I had hoped, but it does spray a good 15 to 20 feet out, if shot at the right angle.I would actually prefer a more complicated operation, if it could provide more range. In particular I would like the pump to be separate from the trigger, so that I could elect to pump more air pressure into the system to get more range when I pull the trigger. |
